@3:01 the charging port is shown (for the F150?) and that gives me pause to think and ask a question about these connection ports. What is the failure rate? My assumption is the port is designed to be 'bullet proof' or at least as dependable as a fluid fueling port. Has anyone here been a victim of a failed charging port? Has anyone here known of soeone in your personal social circle heard about any failures that they had experienced with the charging port? ....sidebar: I'm handling about $30K worth of debt a range of debt including credit cards at about a 1/3rd of said debt. If the government (you, you and you) would charge off that debt with no penalty and assist in me obtaining a F150 base model truck powered by batteries that I could use to assist in powering my home's (23.5' travel trailer) electric use here in the desert of Arizona (25-30 kwh/day) then I'd switch right now.
