My point is that online media is heavily skewing what people think... the media is inherently biased, which most people could handle... but not anymore... since the advent of dishonest media (e.g. Fux$ New$) after the Fairness Doctrine was repealed and actively deceptive online campaigns from both inside and outside the US. The proof is the division sown across the country in the last 10+ years. These online campaigns are having a tangible effect on people's ability to make sensible decisions when they vote. I recently had conversations with a Russian living in Moscow and a Trump voter living in Idaho. Their reasoning was very similar as they quoted extensively from their own info bubbles. e.g. the Russian compared US highschoolers learning how to strip machine guns with the boy scouts of America. e.g. the Trump supporter said that Jan 6 was not violent. The CCP is doing the same with its own people, which is why so many foreigners are getting attacked.

But none of this changes the fact that Trump caused 400,000 excess deaths due to his administration's terrible policy decisions that he forced down our throats. One thing that really ticks me off is him cheating decent people out of their hard earned money to pay his legal bills... for crimes he could easily have avoided! And don't even get me started on the $4 billion in tax cuts he gave to the rich while undermining workers rights....
