  1. Fiat currencies are a pyramid scheme. When other countries stop "borrowing" the "created" US dollar, it will collapse as it prints more money into "existence". Nixon took the dollar off the gold standard and doomed it to eventual failure. The reason he took it off the gold standard was because of gold certificates "stating" that the gov held the gold in its vaults, but this was actually a scam, i.e. the treasury "leveraged" the gold like a bank leveraging its deposits.
