Germany like many other countries in Europe needs immigrants to compensate for dwindling birthrates. Unfortunately, a huge influx of "outsiders" will always ignite a backlash, especially as the number of immigrants increases and starts to impact people's settled lives. This is what exactly happened in Afghanistan and got worse with each wave of new "culture", 1. western culture, 2. elitist rulers, 3. Russian military (atheists), 4. US military.

@DarkonyxX-qq9fl Odd logic, to say the least... I would proffer that we need a homeostatic world economy... one that doesn't destroy the environment, encourages re-use/repairs, and promotes the welfare of all countries so that despots' greed doesn't chase people away from their homes and people can have a decent life/living... wherever they live... ie. emigration/immigration should not be an issue in the first place...
