  8. The Welsh, Highland Scottish, Cornish, Irish & the Bretons of France are Celtic, & share that racial lineage, but the English are a Teutonic people. The British Kingdom is a current alliance that they have (apart from the Irish who withdrew from it in the 1920's), which the Portuguese aren't a part of, therefore the Portuguese aren't British. Desculpa.
