The use of the word 'maybe' tells me what I need to know. I've nothing against the Paddies as a people, & constitutional nationalism, and Republicanism, etc., is fair enough, but the PIRA were little more than packs of ethnic murderers & 1/2 arsed Communist revolutionary wannabes, who preyed upon their neighbours, & were a total disgrace to Ireland. No mealy-mouthed excuses for it.

There was no "genocide", Ulster was a sparsely inhabited wilderness when the English/Scottish farmers moved into it, after the Irish lords that held suzerainty over it at that time lost hegemony to the British Crown in alliance with other Irish lords. The bulk of the Irish population that lives there today migrated into it during the famine in the South, & during 1870-1950's era seeking employment in Ulster's industries.

If that community hadn't gone out and attacked the local police stations in rabid packs unprovoked, the counter-attack from their neighbours wouldn't have come either, & you signing yourself with the PIRA murder gang nom de plume, that used to be appended to a variety of laughing insults after an atrocity, doesn't give a very good impression of who you are either, mate.

@MM - Well I can see that you're interested from all the ? marks. They were never able to build up enough numbers concentrated in one area in England to do it, if they had it would have happened there as well. If you want to see some signs of it look at the behaviour of the Irish immigrant population in Glasgow supporting PIRA atrocities at Celtic football matches, and hit "IRA parade Liverpool", & also "IRA parade Glasgow" into youtube search to see what comes up. If they had enough numbers in those places it would have kicked off there too.

What makes you think the marchers in those vids in Liverpool & Glasgow are football hooligans, I didn't see a single Celtic jersey among them, just Irish terrorist paraphernalia? As for the "Irish Empire" stuff, it's popped up on Sinn Fein comments debates that I've had several times, I can't refer you to it specifically as it was months back the last time it happened & I haven't got a record of which vid threads it was on, but it exists in the fringes of the Irish politics, & those fringes have a habit of becoming influential in that population when it's in close proximity populations that are not of its own, hence the translation of "Sinn Fein" in English.

@MF - Those vids I've indicated prove otherwise unfortunately for the point you're making. Those are descendants of the Irish who immigrated to England, & I've debated with some Irish fellas on Sinn Fein uploads who wax lyrical about wanting an "Irish Empire" once they "re-conquered" Ulster, that covers the whole of Ireland, North-Western England & South-West Scotland.
