  8.  @libertasdemocratiam887  I believe the Cabinet Office (they're the ones behind it) ar planning for a society of 90 million people within 20 years. UK population is currently at 70 mill, so that gives an idea as to what's happening & why.

  10. @Tom She allowed the inv/ asion to continue unabated, and called Powell an "extremist" for warning about its consequences, even denying him a place in the Lords in retirement. She was as much a part of the problem as any other PM that facilitated it

  11. @Tom She allowed the importation of hundreds of thousands of foreign peoples into this island, "net migration" is a red herring. The fact that the rate increased in the 90's is also a side issue. Having yr land in vaded by stealth is no better than it being more brazen, & the ultimate consequences are the same

  12. @Tom Back to Attlee. yes, that's the case, we've had a defeatist, management of decline, loser leadership in that office since WW2. Thatcher was the exception economically & with the Falklands, but in every other regard she was the same, & is greatly over-regarded in her achievements. On the in vasion issue she was as bad as any other.
