  1. They were exonerated after investigation, what's the problem, shouldn't "important" people be investigated by the cops? That's the kind of attitude that let Savile & Cyril Smith get away with their crimes for years.

  3.  @markrl75  The fact that a witness/victim's story isn't 100% consistent doesn't necessarily mean it's wholly false either. they could be mistaken or mentally disturbed. What would you say if the cops hadn't investigated it & it turned out to be true - you'd be accusing the cops of a cover up for the Establishment.
