  2. Those "pods" look ok to me for an emergency shelter, I've stayed in hotels around the world worse than that. Any one who's served at sea with the Royal Navy would be right at home in them. As long as the facility is safe & secure & any trouble is thrown out quickly by 24hr security, I don't see what the problem is with the place which seems like a well-run, decent charitable shelter. Those characters on the street condemning it either have got used to sleeping rough & are uneasy going back into the confinement of a building - which happens, I've met homeless people like that; they've got used to spinning people a hard-luck story as part of the begging act & just turned it on when you started talking & sympathizing with them, or as you say, they can't abide any sort of disciplined environment & have anti-social problems that lead to the shelter barring them. Possibly a combination of the above. Good film, thx
