  3.  @andrewsfoglia6437  I think it was a mistake to leave there. The game is chess not checkers. Afghanistan shares borders with China and Iran. From a strategic standpoint it would be smart to stay there. Afghanistan wasn't even 1% of the Pentagon's budget.

If they were leaving they should've done something similar. Bring in extra troops to make sure everything goes smoothly. I don't think you'll find anybody who thinks this was successful.
