  19. There's a reason why democrats want to get rid of qualified immunity. Democrat controlled cities are getting sued for millions of dollars each year because of police brutality. Qualified immunity only protects officers from civil damages. You get rid of it and that let's the city off the hook and they would tell you to sue the officers directly. Who would you rather sue the city or a police officer who really doesn't have that much money?
