It's been so frustrating watching American commentators lump Australia in other "conservative" election wins around the world.
104
And if he calls them what they really are, the "corporate party" of Australia, his audience will go full on seizure.
99
Get in touch with Jordies, that story could help with his defense.
72
The job searching. That's me right now. Can get away with playing PS4 when mum's home. Dad will smash it tho.
54
@nickflig he spelt it in Queenslander, champ.
42
I read your first sentence and prepared myself for a keyboard fight. Then realised it's a sports joke... And agreed because I'm a League fan. Fvck Union!
41
The Gold Coast doesn't have a real economy. It's all based on constructing houses, so construction workers can buy a house... So they can continue working in construction. The circle of life.
38
I'm that son. I hate you dad, jobs are hard to find and the PlayStation is more of a father to me than you ever will be!
35
I've noticed through my many arguments with Americans that the like to dismiss, or at worst don't understand, what "per capita" means. Any aspect where Australia comes out on top, is dismissed with: "you have a smaller population", or "Australia is an island, though"...
34
Haha, I thought the exact same thing. Greg's kitchen is the best Aussie YouTube channel, though.
32
Sadly, this woman was still one of his fans. I've copped Jordies wrath before too - left a comment which 'slightly' criticised his hero Tony Robbins, then find a reply from Jordies (he made it 2 months later) which ripped into me for being a loser... It was spot on, hurt my feelings, a little over the top. But I'm still here.
32
I feel like slapping the fan until it goes quiet, then right about when you're drifting of to sleep, it goes berserk again.
29
I discovered that it's only a NSW thing, or at least Queenslanders didn't have Healthy Harold.
28
@Mandragara I think it's kind of minor compared to the damage corporations are doing.
27
My friend lived near Lady's Beach (@9:04) when I was in primary school. We told his dad that we're going for a walk, and he said "ok, but turn back before you get to the nudist beach". We obviously didn't, and were standing there looking at tits for the first time. When his dad came outta nowhere yelling, and belted his son over the back of head. We both walked home crying.
27
Sad thing is, that guy uses the same arguments you see all the climate change deniers use about the bushfires. I can't even watch videos about the Aussie bushfires anymore, because of all those idiot's.
24
Horizon585 why are you all over the comments on a channel you hate, dipshit?
22
@windradyne8724 The worst thing is how Crowder shows up to debate amateur's, and calls it a win. That'd be like a pro fighter, showing up to a campus and challenging students to a fight. Crowder doesn't challenge real experts to a debate.
21
Crowder uses the same tactic as Ben Shapiro - talking fast and gish gallop
20
That's pretty wholesome. Had a similar situation in Redfern - Aboriginal woman was standing in the train station, asking everyone who walked past for ciggies. She asked me, I said "I wish I did", then saw how much I looked like hell that day, and offered me a Rollie from her pouch.
20
Maybe every second video do one about Ben Shapiro. I think both of them just use the speed of their speech to overwhelm their mostly stupid audiences.
20
I'd be happy for Jordies to solely become a Jordan Peterson meme channel.
19
@timothybellette2569 because he used a plane once?
19
It's so true. My friends don't watch the news, but their bosses do. And their bosses talk shit about Labour all day. So that's literally where young people get their political information - from their boss.
19
It plays a similar role to 'canned laughter'. Except it makes people more agreeable, rather than laugh.
19
He has a head shaped like a Nutri-Grain
19
@Milk_with_chunks he has comments saying "leave Gladys alone"... Enough said.
18
@bengersbootlegs . Every Aussie is entitled to 6 free psychology sessions per year. Get on it.
18
Googled it, they're not on it yet, but probably a few articles will come up in tomorrows news.
18
I shit you not, they use that exact same argument against climate-change, saying: "see, scientists thought smoking was good, and we'll see that climate science was also wrong"
18
@dartanion0075 yeah, all them scientists are colluding
17
Haha, I got that "he's already dead" feeling from the first minute. Honestly makes this hard to watch. Kinda feel sorry for the guy lol
17
@dartanion0075 there's WAY more money in denying climate change. It's why climate deniers always quote that one Israeli loser-scientist, and give him a platform on all the conservative channels. He was a failed scientist, and now makes a mint spruiking his illogic... Same as "Duke Monkton" or whatever he's called. The guy solved a maths puzzle, now lectures for conservatives worldwide and makes bank.
16
Not all of them. But lived with a guy in Brisbane (I'm from Sydney) who is an alcoholic, hadn't worked in four years, and is in debt at end of every Centrelink fortnight... This guy votes for Liberals, because "Campbell Newman's a good bloke", even though the libs are most likely to slash his Centrelink funded lifestyle.
16
@Alexander-pf4ne I don't think the ABC is left at all. Certainly not all the prime time shows, anyway.
16
Holy shit. How does Jordies know Fantano from Theneedledrop? Star power right there.
16
@dangalipo . You don't even have to screw around to emigrate to NZ. But before that, just remind your friends and coworkers to vote Labour 😎
13
God damn he nails the emotions of what it was like as a kid.
13
@Biodebatable . Labour should fire whoever made those ads. There were so many more issues than a bloody stadium.
13
@Adonnus100 Embarrassing to admit, but years ago I used to BE one of those denialists. Reading Andrew Bolts blog, and parroting his conspiracy theories any chance I got... Was a full blown Liberal supporter At least I know how they think now, I guess.
13
Awyatt Mann I can't name one scientist who was saying that. Are you confusing some American politician for a scientist..?
12
Awyatt Mann >Ozone hole CFCs were banned. >Al Gore Not a scientist.
12
@leafyisherearchive4484 at the very least he could have asked his audience to donate to the families who lost their homes, but AVI asked for personal donations? That's just a fucked up person right there.
12
I need to know how to convince 2 of my friends who don't even vote! They're mid twenties, post political crap on Facebook all the time, but have never voted. It makes me angry.
12
Same here, I was in the "both parties are the same" camp over the last few years. Now I'm too disgusted by the corporate-politics connection to be complacent.
12
Most middle age chain-smoking women from Blacktown have names like that. Including my own aunt, Shaz.
11
Just be grateful Campbell Newman hasn't come back in QLD... Yet.
11
@ChristopherCraven ice is a dero -drug even to heroin users, in Australia.
11
@Quarker . Hello, As an ex-vegan I just want to say how much damage you do (and obviously don't realize) to your own cause, by preaching an animal-free lifestyle. Cheers.
10
Or the terrifying as hell "gobbledok" thing from Smith's Chips... He destroyed my childhood.
