  1. Not all of them. But lived with a guy in Brisbane (I'm from Sydney) who is an alcoholic, hadn't worked in four years, and is in debt at end of every Centrelink fortnight... This guy votes for Liberals, because "Campbell Newman's a good bloke", even though the libs are most likely to slash his Centrelink funded lifestyle.

  2.  @beesplaining1882  I think identity politics is the wrong word here. It's more "personality politics", and from what I've gathered by living all over NSW & QLD, personality politics is A LOT stronger in QLD for some reason...
