I feel America was a bit cheap as number one, since they're a relatively new nation, and never really had an opportunity to get invaded... I mean, Australia has an even cleaner record than America, if we're factoring in "new nations".

Let's not pretend like we even knew Poland-Lithuania was a thing before playing EU4...
191
@appleslover um no. Did you watch it? The University of Bologna was the centre of atheism
189
The drunken hooligans of Asia?
173
@TheMaster4534 the alt-right? Calm down, hysteria.
75
I think he means the elites
51
I believe in Ethiopia. If they had access to the sea, throughout the last century, then Ethiopia would probably rival South Africa in industrial output.
44
@hirocheeto7795 he says he's alt-right? I didn't hear that while watching. I think you maybe hear him say that he doesn't hate Trump. Maybe you're the type who thinks Republicans are Nazis.
34
A better Argentine questions: What if Argentina had taken a few more years of investment in Mirage fighters, French Submarines, and a more disciplined army before invading The Falklands.
27
@Amy Girl do you know who the real natives of Southern Africa are? I bet you don't. They don't really exist in many places, because the Bantu were successful in their genocide.
26
@Amy Girl it's worse than the apartheid system. A group of Bantu which had only been in South Africa 300 years before the Dutch, murdering, raping, and ultimately commuting genocide against the Khoisan, in South Africa for 60 000 years, is much worse than anything apartheid ever accomplished.
26
...but, it would be amazing. It's mind blowing that one of the world's largest sky-bird preyed on the world's largest land-bird, in the land of the world's smallest land-birds.
25
By far the best alternative history on YouTube. Way more in-depth than the others, and balances the strategic overview with little tactical facts about fighting styles, plus interesting trivia.
24
King of Kings & Ruler of Rulers yes, if they had access to the seas, then the potential for Ethiopia is massive.
22
@achaeanmapping4408 I wrote you another reply, but it got deleted. Basically, eugenics, currently, is more common than you think. I'll avoid key words, but even things like IVF, and hormones are borderline eugenics
22
1. Then we could actually discuss the ideas in the video 2. No
20
He is right about the world. You think the Korean border is to keep people in? LOL, it's to keep people out, fool.
18
...when can I move?
17
@therealx1ras453 are you joking? You can look at all the right wing attempts in history which foaled spectacularly.
16
@BigHenFor paragraphs dude. Paragraphs.
16
lol. They'd prefer Australia over Brazil. We own the southern cross.
16
I've always wondered whether the neighbouring Italian cities would have ever reached the same height as Rome did. Or was there something super unique that only the tiny Roman tribe possessed, which allowed them to flourish as a continent-wide empire?
15
...then the Haast eagle and Moa still exist. lol. What else could come of that? It'd be exactly like you say.
14
I'm surprised there's so few Turks coming into these comments trying to convince us that all the Armenians "commited suicide" or some nonsense... Guess that because the title didn't mention Armenia, their bot-army wasn't mobilized for an offensive.
13
@SacredCowStockyards how was Rome facist? It's literally a mashup of several Mediterranean cultures. They idealised The Greeks too, who are a completely different language and race.
13
Yawn. I hate these random geographical 'what ifs', because there wouldn't even be a modern Europe. If potatoes were native to Europe, you'd have to go back to a POD during Gondwana Land... And then the "potato in Europe" would be the LEAST of the he changes that occur.
12
@青山翔-f7s I believe that would have happened regardless, as China was industrializing. Besides, I was hinting at the 60 million who died from starvation.
11
Agree. He needs to look into sound, it probably just requires speaking closer, no need for new hardware. I'll also add, don't flash the text so quickly, I'm often pausing video to read the little discriptions.
10
@Metsarebuff 22 I imagine they'd secure a port in some direction, probably Southern Mozambique. If they made it their goal pre-1975, it could be a possibility.
10
@WhatifAltHist What if South Africa won against Cuba in Angola..?
10
Speaking of which, Portuguese colonies wouldn't collapse in this timeline, as the main driver behind the carnation revolution was unwinable wars. But with a strong South Africa, Rhodesia, Kenya etc. There wouldn't be many nations who could support the communist rebels.
10
@mercenery1232 beat me to it.
9
Dude, you should have got revenue for promoting Rebel Inc, I'm gonna download it now. Thanks for the suggestion!
9
I was just rewatching your last video. Pleasant suprise
9
@achaeanmapping4408 ok... I see a very well though out video. What's the issue? Are you one of those people who think "bad history" shouldn't be discussed?
9
Would you ever do a 'what if Spain joined the Axis'?
9
Always gotta pause the video to read his rants. Like the one @5:28, about PPP. Which is spot on btw. It's the dumbest way to measure wealth over time.
9
@Clee-os6pv impossible. Industrialization occured in England for a reason.
9
"cut off their noses" - Nelson Mandela
9
Either way, it's crazy that The Greeks reached so far West. I've never been able to wrap my head around how Alexander's empire happened before the Roman Empire...
9
@appleslover @6:53
8
...people speak differently. The end?
7
South East Asian books: some pretty good ones by Australian authors
7
@jonathanpilcher337 shut your face. Australia has been invaded zero times. And man for man, has better soldiers than America.
7
@semi-useful5178 finally! Didn't realise they were alive at the same time. Now this all makes sense. They were the original diss-track rivals.
7
@青山翔-f7s ... Mao's effort "increased" the Chinese population, did it?
7
@hirocheeto7795 you have the "weak ass" comment. I'm still waiting on how you define Z as "Alt-right".
7
@TapOnX yeah, I'm not a fan of steam punk. Diesel punk is superior.
7
@VFM #7634 😅
7
Kind of agree. I've seen fascinating images he uses, and would really like to view the source
