  6. Interesting, but where would the point of difference lead? Like would it really affect history that much? I could see Japan implementing an Empire (co prosperity type expansion) a little earlier than WW2, like possibly in the 1890's...

  7. @Jdaello and I have to add, it was a gentleman's agreement that quotas would only last a couple of decades, not indefinitely. I imagine some people feel betrayed by this, and angry that they gave up one bad system for another... Just my two cents.
