  1. I also disagree. Even in modern war, attacking aircraft often fly really low. For example, the Cuban attack on South African forces at the water project. Which happened just before SA fielded their AA-gun system, mounted on a Rooikat. That equipment would have saved the dam, and the course of the war.

  2.  @rps215  you can even look at modern American planes in Afghanistan. Most of them still fly with 1-4km of the ground.
