  3. There's no mandatory tips in Australia, mate. We don't have a "tipping" culture here. The 18% was a voluntary request of male customers.

  6.  @bneskylights1152 . Well the bill comes at the end of the meal, they'd probably just say "don't come back", which is kinda legal too... Infact, I once didn't pay a taxi driver and the cops got involved, they literally told me there's no law against not paying your fair - it's a civil matter, just like this restaurant would be. Aren't those jobs dissapearing, all the $200k a year for being a cleaner/security guard/etc out at the mines? Because of the down turn in Australian exports...

  7. Heaps of men's groups in Australia. I'm in a town with 3000 people right now, and even they have a men's shed. Also there are old institutions like boys only private schools, religious spaces for men etc.
