You also should consider that not everyone who gets coronavirus seeks testing, therefore the 'death rate to recovered' ratio is likely lower, as it does not include those people.

@theskyspire I don't know about that. Think China has it's eyes on Taiwan and other neighbouring states. Btw, Taiwan is doing really well in combating coronavirus. They probably have the best system in the world right now.

@sultros that's a bit dramatic. If it's not contained, coronavirus simply becomes a yearly occurence, like yeh seasonal flu. And humanity will adapt, probably for the better tbh - people will be much more informed about hygiene and health.

H Higgins the smoking stats seem to be confusing people. In China, which has a high rate of smokers, they're added to the list because smokers touch their mouths more often. It's why the rate of females infected are lower in China, it's seen as a thing mostly men do, so most Chinese women don't smoke.

Tim is exaggerating. Those people falling over in Iran were heroin addicts. Iran has the world's highest heroin usage, which also helps in spreading coronavirus.
