He's actually a centrist by Australian standards. Did you watch the interview? Trump didn't have anything good to say about Covid, because he hasn't handled it well compared to other western nations. This journalist has Australian standards on Covid.

@franklanse oh yeah, and most importantly, our top level health officials came out 'against' the idea of BLM protesting. Whereas American doctors and nurses are marching 'with' BLM.

@samuelmiguel2138 yeah, the WHO and CCP are mostly responsible. But other nations still dealt with the same odds Trump faced eg. Australia, Singapore, Taiwan, Sth Korea etc.

@rockstarburne airports are federal, so is your CDC, border security, other agencies etc. Tbh, it didn't appear like Trump thought it was very serious to begin with. I know this, because I compare it to my own government's response, and other nations in the Pacific, like NZ and Singapore.

@franklanse well, I can only talk about Australia and New Zealand, maybe Singapore to am extent. But both banned all international travel, declared major lockdown for everyone. Cancelled visa's for incoming tourists, and immigrants, created immediate taskforce to deal with Covid. Probably other shit I can't remember right now

What facts? Why did Trump say America's doing "better than the (rest of the) world" in regards to Covid? That's just stupid. Does it hurt so much to admit other nations are doing a better job? I mean, he's arguing against somebody who's Australian...
