That's why most Americans don't have a passport. You can't afford to travel. Keep up the good fight against minimum wage! Protect your low paying jobs! Freedom! Etc.

@briank5877 . That the people who'd benefit from a national minimum wage, maybe 30% of population, are the people who are ideologically opposed to a minimum wage.
2
@briank5877 . And that there's more young people from Scandinavia travelling the world in Americans, despite the massive population difference... Because young Scandinavians can afford to do so on their minimum wage.
1
@Shyhalu . Who is the 11% costing America lots of money?
1
@briank5877 . You made 3 points: >Homogeneity I don't understand what racial homogeneity has to do with anything, tbh >Don't pay for military Literally produce some of the best military equipment in the world. And all 3 have a standing army, navy, airforce >Large amounts of resources And America doesn't? Didn't America just become the world's largest oil producer or something similar?
1
@ChucksSEADnDEAD . America doesn't actually give money to NATO members, no NATO members pay for each other's defense. There's a central budget to which they contribute, which is under a billion dollars. America pays for Israel's defence, though.
1
@matthewmosier8439 >if a job can't pay enough it's because there's not enough demand Or, maybe because businesses want to make as much profit as possible, and pay the least amount of salary they can get away with.
1
@matthewmosier8439 . It's hypocrisy to be against mass-immigtation/open borders AND to be against the rights of labour. If you're pro mass-immigtation, then I don't agree with you, but at least you're not a hypocrite
1
@matthewmosier8439 . Are you opposed to open borders, though?
1
@ChucksSEADnDEAD . I'm pretty sure NATO will be surpassed by an EU military soon enough, so America won't need to contribute anything. They're already moving in that direction.
1
@Kuuryo. Ha, an American calling anyone else geographilly illiterate - the irony. Is Bali, or Thailand right next to Scandinavia? No, Dumbarse. But there's still way more Brits and Europeans traveling there than Americans.
1
@ChucksSEADnDEAD who is we?
1
@RurikLoderr . lol, nah mate. I ranked top 3% in my state for mathematics, and have studied Econ. Nice try, though.
1
@W0Y4K. That's the opposite of what I said...
1
@W0Y4K. ?? I'm saying a minimum wage allows lower class workers to travel... I still don't even remotely understand how anyone could have read the opposite of that.
1
Yeah, nah. Just look at how well a minimum wage works in other nations.
1
@McBubbleslvl900 . No citation required on YouTube mate haha. Take a look for yourself, maybe Norway or Australia.
1
@shirakou1 . Maybe because I don't have fucking "citations". Never written a thesis on the subject, and I wasn't refuting an idea, either. I was claiming one.
1
@shirakou1 . Citation required that I weasled out, btw.
1
@gillysuit2. No you can't make everyone rich, but I can say there's pretty clear reasons for people being poor: drugs, single mother with lots of children, or mental health problems. Beyond those 3 examples, it's very easy to make a living in Australia. I'll point out my poorest friend as an example, because I hang out with these people mostly. He does a basic factory job for a small business, earns $600 USD per week, not the best income, but he could go on holidays if he didn't blow his cash on alcohol.
1
@Silver Galt Where does Australia have no go zones?
1
@billybeebo8426 . Union's are even better.
1
@jjkhawaiian . I've written like 10 replies, feel free to read them
1
@jexsnake . As in Trump's tariffs on China?
1
@genli5603 . Mean vs median, buddy. America does have a massive GDP, but a good amount of the population probably earns less than $600 a week, or below.
1
@shirakou1 . Australia. The minimum wage. Maybe travel there and ask people, if you can afford it?
1
@shirakou1 a source for what? You replied to me, dickhead, not the other way around. About the minimum wage in Australia 'not' destroying the economy? Ok: >Had minimal wage of $15 per hour >Only Western nation to avoid recession during GFC >Highest continuous growth rate in the OECD since the 90's >One of only 3 nations in the world with AAA credit rating >Boosted minimum wage to $18 per hour >Economy in surplus Your turn.
1
@shirakou1 All the while providing >Aforementioned minimum wage >Universal healthcare >Social security for the unemployed >Victims compensate for violent crimes >Subsidising medicine I can afford to travel to wherever you are and slap your face, just by working at McDonald's, if I wanted.
1
@southafricanizationofsociety20 You realise the two sources you quoted are from News Corp, right? The unashamedly biased outlet controlled by Rupert Murdoch, personally. The same organisation that wants mass immigration from Africa, because they'll work for $2 an hour. Just a heads up, if you quote them to an Australian in the future you've already lost the debate.
1
@southafricanizationofsociety20 . You're right, we can't have a welfare state with mass immigration. Thankfully we have the best border security in the world. But do you know who lobbies for open borders? The same organisation which funds those two sources you mentioned.
1
@southafricanizationofsociety20 . If you want to know what Australian elites think about immigrantion, google "Gina Rhinehart African migrants", she's the wealthiest woman in Australia, and works with Rupert Murdoch's mouth piece.

@southafricanizationofsociety20 . abc.net.au/news/2012-09-05/rinehart-says-aussie-workers-overpaid-unproductive/4243866
1
@southafricanizationofsociety20 . No mate, those aren't facts. Stop liking your own comments btw, it's a strange way to back up your own ideas lol.
1
@Jekyll_Island_Creatures . I'll show it again, it's more like Ian Thorpe swimming in a pool with a swim suit on, and winning gold eg. The swim suit is minimum wage, which creates a lower class that spends a lot more, stimulating the economy.
