Ok, so whatever they are, their leader is literally of Bantu-descent? In ancient Poland? So somehow, a Bantu woman (sub Saharan Africa) made their way up to Poland to become leader of the elves. Seems legit.

@edwinbasa2804 even if their skin is dark, they'd still be based on East Europeans, not Bantu-Africans from the Congo jungle...

@michals5873 As said before, then they would be East Europeans with "dark skin", not Sub Saharan Africans with "dark skin". Unless the books specifically mention that they change the race and facial structure of their victims?

@AJZulu It's not about "colour", though. That woman literally has facial features from Sub Saharan Africa... If it was a Polish person with "black" skin, then that would be a different story. But it's not. She's literally of African descent.
