  2. Well, it's the reason Saudi Arabia is so awful. They have one of the world's best, and most expensive, militaries in the world... But are absolute trash when put into combat.

  3. That is a very trendy thing to say. But there's plenty of instances where a small, besieged force with great morale kept a well oiled, logistically-superior army at bay.

  6.  @TealJosh  corruption, how so? Qatar pays their military well. The Saudis have more technologically superior military than most European nations. And Kuwait punishes corruption by death. I don't think that is the excuse for their poor performance. Either way, the fact everyone has a different opinion is why Covert Cabal should sort through this topic...

  7. At least America trains against other modern nations. China doesn't have that opportunity, and all the experience it brings.

  9.  @hendrikdependrik1891  how about Saudi Arabia. It's a cohesive force, in terms of religion. And has some of the best equipment, and a massive budget. But they perform like garbage.
