Spain can control things more like energy and utilities because it didn't sell them to foreign countries and doesn't have anywhere near as many people as the UK, we have nearly 25 million mote people to provide for, usually free. We're one of the fastest growing, densely populated countries around and in severe decline. Your land mass is also over twice as large as the UK

School uniform is bought from asda etc supermarkets corner and monopolise goods at a cheaper price, with the cost of living crisis more people abandon regular sources for the cheaper supermarket, was always going to happen, the crisis just sped things up People have no choice but to abandon their regular shops even forgoing quality

People are struggling and worried as the years drag on, now we're in the 5th year after the pandemic with those effects and now on going conflict in Ukraine which caused the energy crisis pushing up inflation. Things are nose diving ever more, could say more but I'll leave it at that. Who knew the 70s,80s, 90s would be the good old days,this century is disastrous

It's all about supply and demand for everything meaning prices rise because of demand, but supply can't be met, that's caused solely by overpopulation,same for the eco systems unsustainable humsn population explosion, if you try to blame anything else you're deluding yourself So people shouldn't be fearful of never finding accommodation, housing etc because of the crisis inevery department, hospitals, doctors, schools, jobs, etc etc, yet another 1.4 million arriving in 2024 will have no impact on any of those things i mentioned? And people should fear or dislike millions more arriving annually to make things even bleaker and hopeless, I'm alright Jack type ur

A story from Reddit, a bloke staying at home until 30 decides with his 2 friends to rent, all are working good jobs , he couldn't find anywhere to rent, nothing, he can't buy an house etc, all he has is his parents house or the streets he is despairing. The housing crisis was always a thing but now its worse than a crisis. 4 million adults still live at home because they can't afford or find anywhere to live, why? 🤔 That causes resentment why wouldn't it, you're probably okay Jack, you wrote what you said without paragraphs like in one breath, i also stand by what i said!

I think they're getting less customers, so prices have to rise because people can't afford the cost,on top of that energy crisis etc with the purge of benefits could mean 50 % of their customer base gone, prices will rise further meaning only the rich will be able t to afford a once cheap treat 😮

  12. High inflation, high interest rates, high rents, energy costs, basics like food taking vast amounts of money from peoples pockets, most people are barely surviving. People haven't money for coffee shops, shopping, eating out etc so businesses fold, tourist numbers down because the world is suffering with less money because of the pandemic and the conflicts

  13. Germany didn't leave the EU and its in a recession, the rest of the world didn't leave the EU like America, Canada etc but are worse than the UK. People haven't the money anymore because of high inflation, high interest rates, energy, utilities,rents etc we can't control our utilities. because we sold everything off, other countries can keep their prices lower because they still own their utility services. We don't keep rents lower with rent control like Spain etc were also vastly overpopulated causing supply and demand issues causing housing crisis and higher and higher rents squeezed out of people, leaving them with even less money to but anything but basics and still struggling

  14. Yeah Brexit has affected the whole world. The Ukraine war and the pandemic is a walk in the park, supply and demand causes everything to become more exspensive like housing costs. High interest rates and inflation had nothing to do with it too 😂

  17. The seas have been over fished, Fisher men have to travel further trying to find the depleted stock being plundered with their bigger gigantic fishing boats and nets, which are discriminate and affect the eco system in the seas

  19. Online shopping, Amazon etc that era started seeing things tumbling into a spiralling disaster, people have no choice but to shop at the cheapest places, hence the monopoly. Its safer to shop online. Then the pandemic struck,eventually that subsided, then wack the conflict in Ukraine and Russia emerged soon after causing high inflation, energy, food etc prices to rise, leaving people even less money to spend in the shops 😢

High inflation hit 2 years ago, straight after over 2 years of the pandemic, triggered from the conflict in Ukraine, the loss of cheap energy from Russia pushed prices causing a Domino effect even if you didn't buy their energy,the knock on effect was global, then profiteering surfaced to take advantage of the situation, like what happened in the pandemic,.... Now countries are getting deeper into debt trying to fix things so they don't get worse 😢 Majority of people haven't the money anymore for anything but food and accommodation expenses, with things just getting worse

Before all of those things rents and housing were sky rocketing for at least a decade before, supply and demand situation the cause, which is now the same in Canada, Australia, America etc they did not have Brexit, all are mass migration countries, snap!!

People have fell out of love with chippies , so less customers means higher prices, along with all the other reasons, i think in the next 5 years many will become dinosaurs.I still use them but the quality has plummeted, stale food hanging around because customers aren't eating at the takeaways in large numbers, so there isn't the fast turnover of fresh food, another customer lost soon, i don't mind the prices if the food is fresh and can enjoy it, rather than binning food

But mass uncontrolled as caused serious issues regarding housing,doctors, dentists, the basics of life affected with dwindling money shared out amongst the great influx which dilutes the quality of things,it's insubstantible yet it will continue until collapse and maybe conflict

  45. Cost of living crisis, energy crisis because of the conflict in Ukraine, Russia was sanctioned heavily, all that cheap energy gone, meant Germany went into recession. All energy is now way more exspensive because of the demand and less energy around. Nothing to do with Brexit, or why is Germany affected the most 😂 Supply and demand like with the housing crisis, too many people to supply, which pushes prices up in everything, si interest rates have to increase to stabilise things or we'd have deflation or worse hyper inflation

  47. Yeah since the pandemic, people started shopping online to prevent getting covid, looks like they carried on doing business online instead. Now the cost of living crisis means people have less money to buy the extras and just concentrate on the basics, people shop for the cheapest which unfortunately is usually cheaper elsewhere than the high street, online business mopping up big time, sign of the times
