  1. If you want your kid to have the option of not having to work throughout their whole life, I think you’d need to have many millions. You’d have to give them enough to live ok, and then to have the option of raising a family until the youngest one is 18, if they wish to have a family, as having the option is important. (I know some people can’t have kids, but if we’re just talking financially).
