  5. I always assumed trolley people were part of the customer service team, all doing different jobs. Doing trolleys seems like one of the bleakest jobs, so to assign someone to do it all day all week seems pretty inhumane to me, excuse my sheltered views on life lol, but I think I would go mad out of the tediousness…why can’t they swap the jobs round a bit, I’m sure the till people would be grateful to stretch their legs & vice versa.

I don't think she's as guilty as him, I think he is POS for sure and she's just a mother doing her best who trusted her husband for better or for worse.

  11. If you want your kid to have the option of not having to work throughout their whole life, I think you’d need to have many millions. You’d have to give them enough to live ok, and then to have the option of raising a family until the youngest one is 18, if they wish to have a family, as having the option is important. (I know some people can’t have kids, but if we’re just talking financially).

  22.  @hoshi1505 yeah but if a person is talking loud on the other end of the phone, sometimes you can hear from the same room, especially if it’s dead silent like in the middle of the night. I think he’s a heavy sleeper or exhausted from all the kidnapping.

When I was at Disney Paris watching the fireworks/drone display a man who was already tall decided to put his son on his shoulders, not only that he but was filming it, and instead of putting the camera (old style camera with the viewfinder) infront of his own face, held it to the side, the whole man-child-camera beast was totally obstructing mine and my daughters view, not once did he glance behind and think 'oh maybe I should consider the people behind me and be a bit courteous'. I didn't say anything but took a timid step to the left to see a bit better when the person behind me tapped me to tell me I was blocking their view, its small situations like this that can escalate when people are already exasperated and tired from walking round the park all day, especially when they have young kids.

  40. The lady didn’t mention her life circumstances, if she has dependents would that have changed your answer? Considering the amount of time she would need to dedicate to studying. I’m similar age to her and I can’t fathom I would have the time to do anything like that, even if my husband could the majority of parental responsibilities.
