  2. I think if Europe and the US sent military assistance and came into direct conflict with Russia, Putin would not use his nukes. He's a bully, but he's not stupid. He has to know that using a nuke would mean the destruction of the entire planet. If he nuked Europe or the US, there would be swift retaliation. The fallout alone would make the entire planet uninhabitable for decades.
