  1.  @dummkompf  That was a long time ago. Du-Pont has changed the formulation of Teflon since then. I don't think any of these pans actually use Teflon. The only pans you need to watch out for are old Teflon pans with the coating starting to fail.

  2. Looks good to me. $25 and NOT made in China. I work hard to avoid buying Chinese products. Sometimes it's unavoidable, but here, the choice is easy.

  3. No pan made in China is worth $185. Period. Most of that money is paying for Gordon Ramsay's endorsement deal. Looks like a Tramontina is in my future.
