  1. At my shop, I refuse to install non-OEM cats. I've had too many cars come back a month or two later with a P0420 after installing aftermarket cats. Also, any time you remove the bolts holding the strut to the knuckle, you should get a front end alignment. Your home alignment corrected toe, but removing those bolts can throw off your camber and caster. It's worth it to pay for a shop alignment. Plus, the shop's laser system is much more effective than a home toe adjustment.
