  1. Was the Akihisa tightened to the same tension as the worm gear clamps (30 in/lbs)? If so, that could be why it leaked at such a low pressure. The purpose of a T-bolt clamp is that it can be made much tighter than a worm gear clamp without stripping. Small T-bolt clamps should be tightened to 60 in/lbs. Large ones to 150 in/lbs. This info is from Norma clamps.
