  1. I moved to Vegas in '92, when there was 800k people here. Vegas was great in the 90's. It's crap now. Too many Californians moving in with their "just sold my $1.2M, 1300 sq ft. house" money, causing real estate and all consumer goods to go up in price. We also have much higher gas prices than most of the country due to CARB requiring special "California blend" gasoline. We get our gas from Cali, so we get the same CARB blend. Vegas also decided to get rid of all of the family friendly attractions from the 90's because they weren't making as much money as gaming machines would make in that space. Remember... Casino towers aren't built with their losses.

  2. Just thought I'd let you know... You can't outrun a gator. They don't have a lot of stamina, but they can sprint much faster than a grown man for short distances.

  3. I personally think over 55 communities shouldn't be legal. I can't make an "under 55" community, so why is an over 55 community legal? Prohibiting people over 55 is age discrimination, but prohibiting people under 55 isn't? I live full time in a motorhome and am 50, so I deal with not being allowed in over 55 parks all the time. I just don't get why at 50, I'm too young, but when I hit 55, I'm magically a different person?
