  1. The maintenance schedule on these new DI engines should include an engine de-carbon every 30k miles at a minimum. The valves no longer have gasoline washing them off.

  2.  @TestECull  Non-DI fuel injected engines don't have this problem. No need to go back to the stone ages of jets and needles. Non-DI fuel injection gets better mileage, better emissions and makes more power/BTU of fuel used than carbs.
