  1. The worst part is that HFCS is in so many products you wouldn't even think it's in. I picked up a bag of frozen chicken breasts the other day and the ingredients were Chicken, water, HFCS, and a preservative. Yuck.

  2. I have very expensive All Clad pans, but I use my Lodge skillet almost daily. I use it for steaks fairly often. I get it super hot and sear both sides, then toss it in the oven to finish. Can't do that with stainless.

  4. I wash my rice to remove the fortification. I get plenty of vitamins and minerals in my diet and don't like the idea of artificially added vitamins and minerals.
