  1. Notice it's McDonald's that are shutting down and not all fast food restaurants? That's because McDonald's is one of the worst franchises you can buy. They take a huge percentage of of the gross sales. Their business model requires paying low wages for the franchisee to make any money. In-N-Out has been paying employees $20/hr for a while, yet they have no problem functioning profitably. Wages are not the problem. Corporate greed it.

  2. Yep. Since 2014 McD's prices have increased 100%, far in excess of inflation.
