  1. The problem is that Tesla really has no competition. As a result, they get away with stuff that would be unacceptable from any other car maker. Even with all the problems, Tesla sells every car they make. If Tesla made the airbags larger, they could increase the square inches of airbag, decrease the psi and carry the same weight with a softer ride.
