  1. The last "cheap Jeep" was the old Islander with the 4 banger and manual trans. For $4500, you should have sucked it up and gone with the manual. I mean, "it feels a little rubbery" is worth saving $4500 on a build that's entire existence is based on being cheap. I'd trade the auto trans for a manual and use the money for power windows and locks.
