@10:00... Fuel smell is common in all direct injection engines. DI is great for emissions, but horrible for longevity. The oil gets full of fuel and the intake valves get carboned up. @21:30... Not ALL makes. I'm a Nisan Master Tech. Nissan oil level must be checked after the car has been sitting for 30 minutes. This is from Nissan. This came about due to the way the dipstick is in the VQ series of engines. @22:30... That's cool. Nissan's don't have that feature. It's cool that Toyota thought to program a "service position" into the BCM. @27:00... Been working on cars for 35 years. I'm actually diagnosed with a "bad back". Been told I may need surgery soon. It's bad enough that I won't work on a car without a lift. I'm 6' 3" and need to raise a car up a foot or so just so I don't have to bend over the engine. @31:30... That stuff should be caught during PDI. The problem is that many dealers now have non-techs doing PDI's. Lot porters, lube techs, etc... People that don't have the knowledge or skill to fix these issues, but that the dealership pay 1/2 what they pay their techs. This means the dealer pockets more of that PDI money.
