  1. Haven't even watched this yet, but if they don't blame everything on "just in time" delivery and the complete elimination of local warehousing, they're wrong. Retailers used to keep more than one or two items in stock and used to have local warehouses that insulated against supply chain issues. These were eliminated to save money. Elimination not only saved money by removing the expense of leasing warehouses, it also meant than when there was a supply chain issue, prices could go up due to the lack of supply and steady demand. It was a win/win for corporations with shareholders demanding increased profits at any cost.
