  2. Same with my '97 WS6. Put it in 6th and cruise at 70 on the highway. Even with a 3.73 Moser 12 bolt rear, I still got 30mpg on the highway.

  3.  @coop4274  Not in the driver's seat. I'm 6' 3". I'm not comfortable in a C5, but fit fine in a C6.

  4.  @trefontaine  Some people are like that. I've owned cars for as little as 27 days. I bought a new '14 Jetta TDI manual and sold it with 1200 miles on it. In '14, nobody could tune them and stock it didn't make enough power.

  5.  @coop4274  C5, 24.8 cu ft. C6, 22.4 cu. ft., C7, 15 cu ft. So, I'd agree that the C7 is tiny, but the C5 definitely doesn't have "a lot" more space than a C6 with only 2 cu ft. more.

  7.  @davidr6865  In my state we get pro-rated credit on both. Doesn't cost any more to buy a car every 6 months than owning the same car for 5 years.

  10. The problem with modern 4 bangers is the gearing. Most of these cars run well over 3k rpm on the highway. That's not great for fuel mileage.

  11.  @JohnSmith-lf4be  The number of turbo 4 cars I've owned dwarfs the number of cars most people own in a lifetime. Most of mine run well over 3k at 70 mph, the speed most people travel at on the highway in NV, where I live.

  14. Legit Street Cars tuned his C5 for lean burn at low load highway cruising. He got 40 mpg on the highway. Any skilled tuned with HP Tuners can do it. Absolutely no risk to the engine. As soon as the load increases over minimal levels, it goes back into the OEM tables. Perfectly safe to cruise on the highway at 15:1 AFR.
