Of course they engineered the whole thing... There was no WMD. Cheney was the MOST adamant that there was.

@kimobrien. People don't see the real reason conservatives want to end traditional SS and allow people to invest for their own retirement. If all of the money that's currently parked in SS gets invested in stocks, that drives up the share prices, which is good for Wall Street, corporations and by extension, politicians. CEO pay is tied to share price. Share price goes up, executive pay goes up. This is why there's a push for privatization of SS. Has NOTHING to do with what's best for the middle class.

America needs to throw out the business philosophies of Milton Friedman and go back to the practices of the 50's. Invest in workers and customer satisfaction. Stop "investing" in shareholders. Keep the customers and the workers happy and share performance will naturally follow. It just takes longer than buying back stock and using financial shenanigans to boost the share price today at the expense of tomorrow.

Restaurants have a lobby group. It's too bad the workers don't. Oh wait, that's what a union is for. I still don't get why so many workers are anti-union.

They should get minimum wage plus commission, $2/ beer.

I don't know how they've done it (Actually, I do... Looking at you Fox News), but corporations have brainwashed Americans into thinking if someone is making mare than them, the solution isn't to fight for better wages for themselves. The solution is to fight against those making more. The anti-union sentiment is the blue collar class in this country boggles my mind.

The question is, who's gonna do anything about it? Government? LOL. This is why all workers should be unionized. Worker's individual voices aren't loud enough to be heard and are easy to ignore.

Here's the problem... Most politicians, on both sides are wealthy, so they work for the wealthy. Democrat policies better serve the working man. Conservative politicians know how to message better and pander to the working man. If people voted in their best interest, rather than for a social agenda, most working people would vote Dem. Too many people vote based on religion and "feelings". This is why conservatives are spending so much energy on "trans", abortion, drag shows, etc...
