  1. I blame Milton Friedman's stupid-ass economic principals of putting the shareholder first for ALL of this. Corporations don't care about customers, employees, suppliers or anyone else other than the shareholder. Doesn't matter how many people have to suffer as long as the share price ticks up. Tying executive pay and bonuses to share performance is why every CEO only cares about THIS quarter. Next quarter doesn't matter until next quarter. They don't even consider 5 years from now. Reagan started this mass exodus of tech leaving the US and going to China. RT 128 in Massachusetts used to be a high tech corridor. It became a ghost town under Reagan. My step-father lost his job and his retirement.
