The CVT should be quicker 0-60 in a turbocharged car, if it's programmed for performance. It should be able to take the engine immediately to peak torque and hold peak torque through the entire acceleration event. There's no loss of boost because there's no gear shift event. This should result in quicker acceleration. If it's not, then the software needs work.
