  1. I'm just happy when my package actually makes it. I shipped a 3 year old Gary Fisher bike by UPS. I even paid for the extra insurance. After 2 weeks, it still hadn't arrived at it's destination. I filed a report and waited 30 days. Then I filed a claim. Even though I showed UPS the eBay listing where I sold the bike for $1000 and I purchased $1000 in insurance, they didn't want to pay me because I couldn't produce a receipt from the store I purchased it from 3 years ago proving it was worth $1000. Had to have my attorney send them a letter explaining their own insurance policy to them.

  3. Two words... "term limits". The problem is it requires a Constitutional Amendment, which would have to be passed by the very individuals it would limit. I'm guessing his aides aren't surprised or worried because he has been diagnosed with a condition, his aides know about it and they've been told he's not in any danger.

  6. Many conservatives have unplanned children because they don't use birth control. I believe that's FAR more irresponsible than any liberal deciding not to have children. Also a lot of liberals are deciding not to bring children into this f'ed up world as a conscious decision.

  22. Yes, tariffs will raise prices. That's kind of the point. The goal is to raise prices to a point where it costs less to manufacture in the US than overseas. This will bring manufacturing back to the US and raise the median household income because manufacturing jobs pay better than the "service industry" jobs people are currently doing. The reason why we're targeting Canada and Mexico is to specifically bring automobile manufacturing jobs back to the US. These jobs left the US when NAFTA became law. The goal is to repair the damage done by NAFTA.

  23. If Putin sends warships into the Atlantic, it could be a sign that he's hunting cargo ships carrying US military equipment. I'm sure we're watching the Atlantic closely. The question is, will the US turn it's ships around to avoid conflict with Russia, or will they steam ahead and risk a conflict that will surely result in WW3?
