  1. The villages has become terribly overcrowded and, just like in every city, problems grow. They do a lot of advertising, it is FL after all, tourism and retirees support the state.

  2. @Michael L  omg. Have you never seen "as time goes by" a sort of British soap w Judi Dench? This couple inherited a posh place in the country community where every minute of their lives were planned and everyone was supposed to do every planned thing together. They just wanted to rest and be together w each other, but the group wouldn't let them. That's the way many planned communities are. While looking for a place to move, I've seen comments where ppl complain about this in every country where English speaking ppl retire. Think of the mean girls in junior high. If you didn't fit in they bullied you, isolated you, and made your life miserable, although they were the first to welcome you and drag you into their lair. Just saying . . . This is one reason why ppl don't want to go or want to leave.

  3. @DonLicuala  maybe it's secretly a community of swingers. That could be why ppl are so friendly and welcoming. You know: "Come join our Villages said the spiders to the flies!" (I cannot believe I said that!)🙊
