  2. @Jewel  1) Do you seriously think votes matter? Ask the ppl counting votes when Bush the 2nd "won." 2)cheap labor? A)Ck the day labor pick up stops to see all the degreed young men and the women over 40 standing w the "used-to-be regulars" hoping to be chosen for the day's hard labor that pays them $20/day; B)The shelters are full of men, women, and children who do cleaning and other chores twice a day, hoping not to lose their beds; C)the abled or disabled war veterans who are homeless bc they don't get priority over all the other out-of-work ppl; D)and all the ppl at job corps or the unemployment office who spend every day rewriting resumes, filling out applications, making phone calls, and checking every available source for the possibility of work; E)not to mention all the ppl sitting on the sidewalks or standing at red lights carrying signs begging for work. We have thousands and thousands of educated and skilled workers who will do anything for food, much less a roof over their heads, or a dollar in their pockets so they can feel like they've joined the human race again. There's already more than all the cheap labor you could want in every town in America. Just look up.

  5. ​ @OtayBuckwheat  WE DON'T NEED ANY PERMANENT MIGRANTS, LEGAL OR NOT! We need occasional seasonal workers who will go back home when they finish their assignments. If we find we need someone w special skills that are not available in the States, we will invite them in TEMPORARILY.
