@wread1982 If you're the only one who's not racist, than you sure seem pretty oblivious to the ubiquity of it in American society. Racism isn't about hating people of a different race (though that would certainly be a sign of racism), it's about holding people of another race back—keeping them in their place, so to speak. And the attitude of most Americans is one of western superiority, particularly the superiority of western values. This leads directly to actions and sentiments aimed at denying East Asian societies the opportunity to surpass in strength and development the champions of the western model. For those who associate the west with the white race and East Asia with a non-white race, this is big picture racism. Those that intentionally hold back the opportunities of individuals of East Asian heritage (or attack them) because they "look Chinese", that is small picture racism. Both count as racism.
