  1. "They need real ethnic borders with autonomy." No, that's how they stay weak and abused. What this area needs is a strong enough government to build a multinational empire. They need the local equivalent of a Josip Tito that can suppress tribalism, integrate the people thoroughly, tell democracy and the corruption that comes with it that this ain't the time or place, and start building up the country's industry making sure that it extends out into the hinterlands so that the rural areas feel connected to the urban areas. Oh yeah, and drive every vestige of Western influence out until we stop supporting separatist movements around the world.
