@elitecassidy8258 Usually Qing Dynasty China is considered modern China, so the Taiping Rebellion would not be considered ancient China, but your main point is absolutely correct. China's internal conflicts have been apocalyptic and have probably heavily influenced the Chinese appreciation of social order.
