I'm interested in that document you flashed near the beginning saying that revolutions usually pan out. I'm leery of the idea of revolution because the ones I'm familiar with have usually led to a great deal of bloodletting, not only regarding the overthrown class, but also between the factions of the revolutionaries, with the people having to individually negotiate the political winds in order to avoid falling afoul of the new doctrine, which may change overnight. You may have a good argument that in the long run revolutionary change improves the lives of people where a stultifying class structure has become calcified. But I certainly would be worried in the short term about survival of self and kin during the inevitable ideological purity purges that would likely permeate the short term. Is it worth it? Good question. Maybe…, in some cases…, after all other potential means are exhausted.
