@MrFlatage That buck should have stopped well below the presidential level. Honestly, this is an expected periodic consequence of regular training. While the cost of this aircraft and the sensitivity of the tech on it should trigger an investigation, I don't know that anyone should be held to account for this. After all, you don't want carrier captains to be reluctant to conduct training exercises or show-of-force aerial operations.

@MrFlatage I wasn't going to respond to you again but I'm a sucker. I'm not going to discuss most of your diatribe but I am curious about one thing. You say that I "…cannot offer proof to [my] own words and claims." I haven't stated any facts or anything claiming to be facts. What exactly are you expecting me to prove?

@MrFlatage Whew, didn't intend to offend you. Just pointing out that accountability has to be appropriate for the circumstances or else it has consequences of its own.

@MrFlatage Well, there are costs associated with training and operation because training requires use of equipment by people. Equipment used, even correctly, is subject to wear. The more complex an operation, the more likely that human error or human or equipment inability to meet the challenges either built into the operation or injected by unseen circumstance leads to the loss or damage of equipment or personnel. This has been evidenced by operations performed uniformly throughout the course of human history, but I suspect that by your standards it falls short of proof. So be it. As for you're being obnoxious, you are providing plenty of evidence in this thread. I will defer to that.
