@Hurted Lion Without that agreement Hong Kong would be treated the same as other Chinese cities by the central government.

Joshua Wong is hardly a random guy. He's setting himself up for exile or worse. In his comments today he invoked the fall of the Soviet Union which, frankly, and I don't say this lightly, is treasonous. It's sad to see such a young man embrace martyrdom.

@tntmay20 Hong Kong isn't owned by anybody. It's part of China because it's a Chinese city and always has been, even when governed by the British and the Japanese.
